We replace or recover sagging headliner material after inspecting the liner board and the surrounding trim. A loose lining needs an appropriate repair to the covering and its support; pressing it back temporarily may leave the original bond failure unresolved.
The finished work should sit neatly around lights, handles, visors and any applicable roof openings. The liner size, number of cutouts and required access affect the job. We check the condition of clips and trim during the agreed removal and identify anything that also needs replacement.
Deal with moisture before recovering
If the roof lining has been wet, the source needs attention before new upholstery is fitted. A leak or drainage concern is separate from replacing the fabric. We explain the required repair so fresh material is not exposed to the same moisture.
For a sagging or stained roof lining, our Mercedes headliner replacement service covers the relevant fitting choices. Convertible roof interior lining can also be assessed; roof mechanism and exterior weatherproofing faults are separate repairs.
