The W176 A-Class hatchback and the later W177 hatchback or A-Class sedan require different parts and service checks. For instance, the early W176 A200 used a 1.6-liter turbocharged M270 engine; do not carry that engine specification over to a later A200. The same model name does not establish the oil approval, filter, battery or gearbox-fluid requirement. Body style and market origin can matter as well as registration year.

A200 diesel variants and newer electrified specifications require their own maintenance information. Tell us the badge or warning shown, and we will discuss an appropriate appointment rather than assuming every A200 has the same gasoline powertrain.
