Shifting, leaks and warning messages
Your description helps us plan the first checks. Tell us whether the concern appears cold, in traffic, during a particular shift or when selecting Drive or Reverse.
A pause or jolt when selecting a gear needs assessment of the actual engagement, relevant data and the condition of the surrounding drivetrain. Worn mounts or other connected parts can influence what you feel. We separate those findings from an internal gearbox fault before pricing a transmission repair.
When engine speed rises without the expected acceleration, repeated driving can place more load on an unresolved fault. Book an assessment and tell us whether the car can move normally. Internal wear can make a more extensive repair appropriate. An overhaul depends on which components remain serviceable after inspection. A reconditioned unit depends on correct compatibility and supply condition. The fitted repair
A usable repair estimate covers the operations needed to return the agreed component to service. Access, fluids and electronic setup can be as important to the total as the part itself.
Mercedes models can use different automatic or dual-clutch transmissions depending on engine, generation and specification. A C-Class badge alone does not identify the unit. We can ask for vehicle details or inspect the fitted gearbox when preparing the parts order. The aim is a compatible repair, not a part chosen only by appearance.
A valve body job and a full overhaul disturb different components. Required seals, filters and the correct fluid are listed with the repair where applicable. Related drivetrain work

A whine linked to road speed or a vibration under load can require checks beyond the transmission. If the findings point there, differential repair or drive shaft work can be quoted separately. These assemblies are not included automatically in a gearbox overhaul.
